Target Audience: Special Education Teachers and Paraprofessionals

Challenge: Educators and paraprofessionals often lack training on how to effectively use Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices with young children who have communication disabilities, limiting their ability to support meaningful communication development.

Solution: I designed an instructor-led training that equips staff with the knowledge and skills to use a variety of AAC tools effectively. The training covers both low-tech and high-tech devices, offering evidence-based guidance on selecting and integrating these tools into daily routines to support communication and learning.
