Target Audience: Special Education Paraprofessionals
Challenge: Paraprofessionals are often responsible for collecting behavioral and academic data to support individualized instruction and monitor student progress. However, many lack formal training in data collection methods, which can lead to inconsistent or inaccurate reporting—making it harder for supervising teachers to make informed instructional decisions.
Solution: I designed an instructor-led training that covers key data collection techniques, such as frequency counts and ABC logs. The course includes real examples, video demonstrations, and hands-on practice to help paraprofessionals confidently and consistently collect useful data.
