Challenge: New employees often struggle to navigate Microsoft Teams effectively, which can lead to communication breakdowns, missed updates, and decreased productivity—especially when collaborating across interdisciplinary teams. Without proper training, employees may underuse key features such as channels, file sharing, task assignments, and integrated apps that are essential for managing projects and maintaining alignment in a fast-paced work environment.
Solution: I designed an interactive onboarding eLearning course that introduces new employees to the core features of Microsoft Teams, with a focus on practical application in cross-functional project work. The course covers essential tools such as chat, channels, meetings, file collaboration, and task management, using guided walkthroughs and hands-on simulations. Scenario-based activities and knowledge checks help reinforce best practices for effective team communication, improving both individual efficiency and overall team collaboration from day one.
